There are only seven remaining physical copies of the book sold by Longman and Rees, with two in the British Isles and five in North America. One of the copies is part of the Osborne Collection of Children’s Books located at the Lillian H. Smith Branch of the Toronto Public Libraries. I was able to examine this particular copy in person, as shown by the photos below taken by myself on May 31, 2019.
This particular copy held up fairly well and the pages were sturdy and clean. There were no visible inscriptions or markings. The first few pages of the book were considerably more worn out and yellowed than the later pages, perhaps indicating that the introduction did not attract enough interest for readers to continue further.
